The AEP, Spanish Association of Landscape Architects, is glad to announce that the first Landscape Architecture undergraduate program in a public University in Spain will start next September 2016 at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid. The classes will be held in the Aranjuez Campus, in the former Pavia Quarters Building

The program received in June the final approval from the Quality agency (Aneca) of the Spanish Education Ministry The program fulfils the general and specific competences defined in the ECLAS Guidance. It consists of 240 ECTS, 50% of them will be design studios tackling different scales of intervention.

Otherwise, there are someother spanish universities preparing undergraduate programs in LA. Our country is recovering lost time and updating LA education after years of delay
