ONE OF THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE AEP
One of the main objectives of the Spanish Association of Landscape Architects It is the impulse of a high-quality academic training in university programs throughout the Spanish territory.
For years, we have advised universities in the achievement of this objective, for which we follow the criteria established by the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) aligned with the criteria of the Bologna Declaration.
These standards are open enough to be able to develop programs that offer an interesting panorama of undergraduate and postgraduate studies specialized in the different fields of landscape architecture.
Spanish university is going a long way to get the implementation of degrees and postgraduate to get to the level of the countries that lead the sector. At present, there is in our country one quality programme in landscape architecture that has qualifications officially recognized by the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) and / or the Ministry of Education, and others that are in the process of achieving it.
Officially recognized grades facilitate free movement of professionals in the EU and broadens the range of opportunities in the labour market. A good training in landscape architecture will improve the quality, diversity and sustainability of our landscapes, which will result in an increase in the quality of life for all citizens and future generations.
