University master on landscape management. Heritage, land and city.
The European Landscape Convention establishes the need to define and implement policies aimed at the protection and management of the landscape through the adoption of specific measures, for which the public and private sector needs to have people with the capacity to undertake research and innovation processes related with the protection, management and planning of the Landscape. With that objective, this research master started, which is a step prior to doctorate studies or provides the skills to enter the labor market.
It is an interdisciplinary master’s degree that incorporates knowledge from different fields such as archeology, architecture, geography, geology, chemistry, biology, etc., and is aimed at a wide range of graduates.
The master’s degree consists of 60 ECTS credits, divided into 21 compulsory credits, 24 optional credits and 15 credits of master’s thesis. The optional credits are divided into three lines:
1) Land planning
2) Analysis of damages, characterization and conservation
3) Landscape, city and heritage
