We face the necessity to change the way we live, work and interact with the environment. Great part of our infrastructures for the water, sewage and drainage, the waste, transportation and energy require a new planning radically different to regenerate the urban and rural communities, build healthy places, comfortable and safe, increasing social cohesion and granting a better future for all.

During the last few years we suffered the consequences from an expensive and out of reality design and without the most basic functionality. Is precisely now the time to focus on the utility and functionality of such useful and admirable tools as the harmonic and respectful design and construction, both for people and the environment.

Landscape architecture has its roots on the understanding of how the environment works and what makes every place unique. It’s a mixture of science and art, ethic and aesthetic, vision and thinking. The aim of the Spanish Association of Landscape Architects (AEP) is to build a community of professionals that work on Landscape Architecture to serve the society and generate value for our groups of interest.
